Originally from Ohio, Mike is a transplant to Tennessee where he currently resides. He is a much-loved regular at ChristyFest™. Those meeting him the first time might be expecting a scowl or some sort of rude greeting but Mike is nothing like Bird's-Eye Taylor in real life. Friendly and informative, Mike is happy to share his memories of working on the series and the PAX movies. A veteran of many projects, on and off the screen, Mike's creative past lends flavor and fun to all his stories. The Crazies, his most recent endeavor, hit theaters in February 2010. ChristyFest™ welcomes back the best loved 'bad guy' of the cove!

Jan Powell

Jan Powell, award-winning composer and musical director, is an ASCAP member and winner of numerous ASCAP Special Awards. As a musical director in the professional theater, Jan has conducted more than 200 musical productions over the past 30 years. His work in Hollywood over the last 25 years has been heard and seen in film, television and on the radio. His newest musical stage play, American Tales, was published last year by Samuel French. He is currently writing a new play based on the work of German songwriters from 1815 to 1933 entitled Falling in Love Again and his bluegrass musical, The Ballad of Tom Dooley, written with longtime friends Brenda Lilly and Ken Stone will premiere at Parkway Playhouse in August. This will be Jan's second year at ChristyFest™ and we wholeheartedly welcome him!
